Congrats and thanks on the wonderful turnouts we have had for Karen Lewis in recognition of Dr. King and for Jesse Jackson starting our collective action in response to the hostile takeover of higher education being attempted by leadership in Springfield.
We have some events on the horizon I want to encourage you to put on your calendars and attend. Check them out below, starting tomorrow tonight and this weekend!
(And, you know that if I come up with something else and all of a sudden say the time for direct action is now, we all do it, right!!? There’s no telling what we may need to do to support Chicago State, Western Illinois University and our own students.)
In solidarity and looking forward to seeing you at some of these events over the next weeks!
