Remember all: keep the threads of who we are as a university tightly knitted and join our colleagues tomorrow as they share research and creative activities. This is alway a great day for NEIU.
Bring students and be there yourself!
The program is attached for you to look through now and plan tomorrow. Registration and coffee starts at 8:00 and the commencement of the program starts at 8:30.
In solidarity and looking forward to thinking together with everyone,
From John Albazi and the Faculty Symposium Committee
Please join us for the NEIU 7th Annual Faculty Research & Creative Activities Symposium held on Friday November 18, 2016. To review the symposium program, please click on Symposium Program and on Symposium Program with the Abstracts if you would like to review a more extensive Symposium Program with Abstracts.
Our main goal in conducting Faculty Symposium is to spark student interest in order to give them the opportunity to better understand the process and components of the research and/or creative activities.
I sincerely request that you encourage your students to attend the symposium. You could perhaps bring your Friday classes to the Symposium or assign your students to attend and write a summary of what they experienced and learned as extra credit. They may be inspired to present their own research or creative activity project at next year’s student symposium.
Please mark November 18th on your calendars and join us for this exciting event. Thank you in advance for your interest and participation.
Dr. John Albazi
